Hostels

The College provides residential facilities for boys, girls and the staff members. The College has two separate hostels for boys with a total intake capacity of 850 students and two hostels for girls with 600 total intake capacity. Ergonomically designed rooms provide a feeling of home away from home. MBC has been applauded as the only residential Engineering College in Kerala.

Men’s Hostels

MBC provides well-established residential hostel facilities for men, designed to ensure a safe, comfortable, and academically supportive living environment. The institution offers two separate hostel blocks with a total accommodation capacity of 850 students on a sharing basis. These hostels are equipped with modern amenities and are thoughtfully maintained to promote both academic focus and personal well-being.

The hostel facilities include uninterrupted 24/7 Wi-Fi connectivity, enabling students to stay connected for academic and research purposes. Additional amenities such as dedicated reading rooms, a well-equipped fitness centre, and recreational areas contribute to a balanced lifestyle by supporting both study and relaxation. The campus hostels are known for providing a conducive atmosphere that fosters discipline, community living, and overall personality development.

A key feature of the hostel system is the presence of resident wardens and tutors in each block, who ensure proper supervision, guidance, and support for students. Men’s Hostel – I
Men’s Hostel I offers 69 well-furnished rooms designed to provide a comfortable stay. The facility includes essential amenities such as a prayer hall, television hall, reading room, and a spacious mess hall that caters to the dietary needs of the residents.

Men’s Hostel – II
Established in 2005, Men’s Hostel II comprises 90 spacious rooms and is equipped with facilities including a prayer hall, a recreational room, and a large adjacent mess hall. The hostel is designed to provide a supportive and engaging residential environment for students.
