The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is destined to provide quality teaching and learning for all our students.
Since the inception of the Department in the year 2002, the Department has had a distinguished pool of quality faculty in terms of their academic calibre, teaching skills, mentoring, and research and development.
The B.Tech programme in Electrical and Electronics Engineering offers a unique mix of Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Control Engineering, and Computer-related courses that enables the student to choose a professional career and/or pursue higher studies in any of these streams. The wide range of programmes and open elective subjects offered covers a broad spectrum of the subject domain and enables the student to specialise in their areas of interest.
The curriculum, based on the credit scheme, is periodically updated in consultation with experts from industry and academia to reflect the changes in the Electrical Engineering stream. The Department is equipped with the latest hardware and software tools to support knowledge dissemination in the classroom and provide hands-on practical experience.
The Department encourages its students to participate in various technical and extracurricular activities within and outside the department and institution. The EEE team comprises committed and dedicated faculty with rich teaching experience, who also aim to maximise the impact of the teaching-learning process through the use of innovative methodologies.
The Department has excellent infrastructural facilities and state-of-the-art laboratories that are at par with industrial needs and standards. The faculty members are willing to take responsibility for the student as a whole and help them to grow as better individuals.
